Quick answer
Use both. NFC is the fastest — one tap with no camera — while a QR code works on every smartphone, including phones without NFC. A card or stand with both catches every customer.
NFC tap cards
- Speed: one tap, the review page opens in about a second.
- Phones: iPhone XS and newer, and most Android phones with NFC turned on.
- Best for: billing counters, staff handing a card to the customer.
QR codes
- Speed: open camera, point, tap the link.
- Phones: almost every smartphone camera.
- Best for: tables, posters, receipts, packaging and windows.
Why a dynamic link matters
Printing your Google link directly into a QR code or NFC chip means reprinting whenever something changes. A dynamic link (like Star Solution & Services’s) lets you update the destination from a dashboard and also counts how many people tapped versus scanned.
Our recommendation
Place an NFC + QR stand at the counter and table-tent QR posters on tables. Check the dashboard after two weeks to see which placement gets the most scans.
