What is a Google review NFC card?

A Google review NFC card is a card with an NFC chip and a QR code that opens your business’s Google review form when a customer taps it with their phone or scans the code. It removes the steps of searching for your business on Google Maps, so more happy customers actually leave a review.

How does a tap-to-review card work?

The card stores a short web link; when a phone touches the card, the phone reads the link over NFC and opens it in the browser, which redirects straight to your Google review box. The QR code on the same card does the same thing for phones that scan instead of tap.

Do customers need to install an app?

No app is needed. Customers either tap the card with an NFC-enabled phone or scan the QR code with their normal camera, and the Google review page opens in their browser. Google may ask them to sign in to their Google account before posting.

Is a QR code or an NFC card better for Google reviews?

Using both is best: NFC is the fastest (one tap, no camera), while QR works on every smartphone including older phones without NFC. Star Solution & Services cards include both on the same product, and the dashboard shows how many customers used each.

How do I get my Google review link?

Open your Google Business Profile (search your business name on Google while signed in, or go to business.google.com), tap “Ask for reviews” or “Get more reviews”, and copy the link that looks like g.page/r/…/review. You can also paste your Google Place ID (starting with ChIJ) into the Star Solution & Services dashboard and we build the link for you.

How do I set up my review card?

Scan or tap your new card, sign in or create a free account, add your business with its Google review link, and press Activate — it takes about two minutes. From then on, every tap or scan opens your Google review page.

Can I change my Google review link later without reprinting?

Yes. Every card uses a permanent Star Solution & Services link that redirects to whatever review link you set in the dashboard, so you can update it any time and the same card and QR code keep working.

Can I use one card for multiple branches?

Each card points to one business location at a time, because Google reviews belong to a specific location. You can move a card to another of your locations from the dashboard, or order separate cards for each branch.

Does the NFC review card work on iPhone?

Yes. iPhone XS and newer read NFC tags automatically when the top edge of the phone touches the card, with no app or setting needed. Older iPhones can scan the QR code with the Camera app instead.

Does it work on Android phones?

Yes, on Android phones with NFC switched on, which includes most phones sold in India in the last few years. Customers hold the back of the phone (near the camera) against the card. If NFC is off, they can simply scan the QR code.

Why is my phone not reading the NFC card?

Usually NFC is turned off, the phone case is too thick or metallic, or the card is touching the wrong part of the phone. Turn on NFC in settings, remove thick cases, and hold the card near the top (iPhone) or the back camera area (Android) for one to two seconds.

Does the card need a battery or charging?

No. NFC tags are powered by the phone’s own NFC field during the tap, so the card never needs a battery, charging or Wi-Fi and can last for years.

Is using a review card allowed by Google?

Yes. Google encourages businesses to ask customers for reviews and to share a direct review link. What Google prohibits is paying or rewarding customers for reviews, posting fake reviews, and “review gating” — only asking happy customers. Star Solution & Services sends every customer to the same Google page.

Can I show unhappy customers a private feedback form instead of Google?

You can offer private feedback, but not as a filter in front of Google. Star Solution & Services’s optional branded page shows the “Review us on Google” button to everyone and a separate private feedback option, which keeps you within Google’s policy against selectively soliciting positive reviews.

How many more Google reviews can I expect?

It depends on footfall and how often staff invite customers, but removing the search step typically turns many more “I’ll do it later” customers into actual reviewers. The best results come from placing the card at the moment of delight (billing counter, table, after a service) and asking politely.

Does a scan mean I received a review?

No. The dashboard counts scans and taps that opened your review page; Google does not tell third parties whether a review was posted. Check new reviews in your Google Business Profile.

Do more Google reviews help local SEO?

Yes. Review count, rating and recency are among the signals Google uses for local rankings in Maps and the local pack, and recent, genuine reviews also make more searchers choose your business.

Is there a monthly subscription?

No. Cards and stands are a one-time purchase and include the free dashboard with link editing and scan counts. An optional yearly Pro plan adds extended analytics and multiple locations, and it never auto-renews.

What does the dashboard show?

It shows total scans per card, split into QR scans and NFC taps, daily trends, and any private feedback from your branded page. You can also download print-ready QR posters and change your review link.

Do you deliver across India?

Yes, we ship across India through courier partners, usually dispatching within 2–4 business days and delivering within 3–7 business days depending on your PIN code. Tracking appears in your dashboard.

Do you offer bulk orders, custom branding or reseller pricing?

Yes. Bulk discounts apply automatically at checkout above the bulk quantity, and for custom-printed cards with your logo or reseller pricing you can contact us through the contact page.

What if my card arrives damaged or doesn’t work?

Report it within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo, and we will replace it or refund you as per our return policy.
